Our family will be traveling to Atlanta this December for the 2025 Cure GABA-A Family and Scientific Conference. This is one of the most important opportunities we have to learn from researchers, neurologists, geneticists, therapists, and families who are working to understand life with GABA-A related disorders. This conference helps us bring home knowledge and support that directly benefit Luke. It is not just a trip. It is part of Luke’s fight, our education, and our ability to stay connected to the experts who can help guide his future.
To help make this trip possible, we are launching a fundraiser that is meaningful, simple, and powerful. We are calling it “Luke’s Road to Atlanta – Sponsor a Mile.” The round trip from our home to Atlanta and back is 1,342 miles. We are asking supporters to sponsor any number of miles they choose. Every mile sponsored represents support for Luke’s journey, not only on the road to Atlanta, but on the long and emotional road he is traveling every day.
